An amazing, fun & educational event for children. North Country Children's Museum KidStage, "What I Love About Winter" art project, Frozen Characters. Price Chopper presents STEM stations. Adirondack Pharmacy presents NYS Zoo presentations. Wilderness Healthcare Foundation presents KidZone Playspace (Indoors) & Healthy Snack. DOG SLED DEMO & RIDES (12 & UNDER) WITH BRIAN HEFT
Noon - 2:00 PM - Clifton-Fine School grounds, Star Lake
The TrailMark sleddog team is a group of pure-bred Alaskan Malamutes. Over the past 20 years the TrailMark team has competed in a couple of ISDRA races and several IWPA weight pull events. As a breed Malamutes are exceptionally friendly & social with humans. The dogs present for WOW are 3-4 years old & represent the “next generation” of the TrailMark team. 
Brian will start with a wonderful & interesting presentation about sled dogs, followed by rides for children 12 and under. Rides on donation, youngest first, one per child.
CURLING EXPERIENCE & HIT THE BUTTON CONTEST
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Clifton-Fine Arena, Star Lake
If you've always wanted to try curling, you're in luck! Try your hand at this fun winter sport for free thanks to a sponsorship by Deborah A. Body, FNP & The Body Family. Then try your luck in our "Hit the Button" contest - $2/throw or $5/3 throws; closest to center takes 50/50 of funds raised. Money raised in this contest goes toward making events, like the Curling Experience, free & open for all.
 Special Thanks to Tupper Lake Civic Center & the Tupper Lake School District for lending us their curling equipment. *Subject to ice conditions

Join a student guide from SUNY ESF Ranger School across the Oswegatchie Flow and up to the "Big Pine" tree. SNOWSHOES/WINTER BOOTS AS NEEDED
 Group limited to 14 max. BYO Snowshoes - some extras, (adult & youth), also available on a first come, first served basis. Dress appropriately for temperatures. For safety reasons, trip leaders reserve the right to ask those not dressed properly to sit out.

Student leaders from SUNY ESF Ranger School will break participants into two competing teams and send them out with a series of clues & GPS points. First team to track down our White Out Weekend Yeti claims 2016 bragging rights. Dress appropriately for temperatures.
